Well after our debut were pleased to present to you with issue #2. Weve been highly motivated by your great feedback of views and comments on the magazine, we thank you. As in forthcoming issues there will be a few firsts that we would like to tell you about. For starters we would like to announce the arrival of a new feature devoted to exposing those working behind the scenes. In future issues we will be delving into unchartered territory of the lives of promoters, label managers and artist agencies, etc. The very first feature of this type explores the world of TON artist management. After all it was about time, because as we see it these individuals are an equally important part of the scene and rarely get the props they deserve. We start our series of UK scene reports letting you know whats happening in terms of parties, up-coming DJs and artists breaking through amongst other things. This month we head north to Leeds where Tom from Crash Records will be reporting on one of the upcoming heroes in the city. Going global we will also be giving you the lowdown on how the drum and bass scene is progressing in foreign lands. This issue we let you know whats happening in Italy, Sweden and the US. The labels also give us their lowdown on what projects theyre currently working on, forthcoming tours and anything else you should know about. Check out the news from labels outside of Nu Urban Music and also the event listings. If you would like to submit information for these two sections please do so by sending an email to phil@nu-urbanmusic.co.uk Phil Wells & Phil Pell
