Welcome to Lexiconmag Issue #005
Well were truly happy with the trial of our
first new look Lexicon and a lot of you seem to think so too.
Issue 5 is looking even more slicker, the format is starting to
find its feet and so you can now start to see the future look
taking shape.
We strive to keep each issue diverse representing forms of credible
underground music such as drum and bass, US house, hip hop and
from next issue nu skool breaks amongst other things.
We let you know whats going on behind the scenes by interviewing
and doing features on promoters, agencies and generally those
who should receive more of a mention for their hard work.
This issue we present stalwart of the jungle/drum and bass scene
Aphrodite, a cultural institution in his own right - Normski -
who will also be Lexicons new guest writer, Twisted Individual,
Voodoo & Loveslap Records, Jay Jay, ASC & Inperspective
Records.
Besides this you can read about The Hemp Trading Company whom
you may have well seen sponsoring a party near you, Innovation
promotions and new promoters Breakin Science.
Also read our Legalise It feature which weighs up
the pros and cons of legalising cannabis. Next issue we will be
following this up by airing the views of figures in the scene
on this subject as well as readers so if you want your say
included then send and email to
philp@lexiconmag.co.uk.
